Wardrobe Justice - Disability Arts and Culture - Paper Collage

Auden Granger is a theatrical wardrobe supervisor and paper collage artist in Albany Park, Chicago.

PAPER COLLAGE: Auden’s intricate, mosaic-like paper collages are made entirely from found and reused paper. Auden’s work is rooted in disability perspectives and the belief that there is artistry inherent in using what you’ve got, working slowly, and finding art in the everyday.

WARDROBE JUSTICE: Built on disability justice, trauma-informed care principles, and Auden’s longtime work as a freelance wardrobe supervisor, Wardrobe Justice is an activist project and curriculum that focuses on the ability and responsibility of costume professionals to create more just and equitable theatre environments.

CREATIVE IMAGE DESCRIPTION: Auden composes on-commission image descriptions of graphic novels, comics, and interpretive works for blind/low vision audiences.
